Preparation Instructions: To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking. To Prepare: 2 servings; 1 cup (237 ml) rice; 1 cup (237 ml) water; To Prepare: 4 servings; 2 cups (473 ml) rice; 2 cups (473 ml) water; To Prepare: 6 servings; 3 cups (710 ml) rice; 3 cups (710 ml) water. Stove Top: 1. Bring water to boil in a medium saucepan. 2. Stir in rice, return to boil. 3. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. Microwave: 1. Combine water and rice in a microwave-safe glass dish. 2. Microwave on high power for 5 minutes. 3. Remove from microwave. Let stand covered until water is absorbed (about 2-4 minutes). 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. Add butter/margarine and salt if desired. Note: If your microwave does not have variable power settings follow manufacturer's directions.
