Cooking Directions: To Prepare: 2 servings; 1 cup rice stove & microwave; 1 cup water stove & microwave; 1 quart microwave-safe glass dish size; To Prepare: 4 servings; 2 cups rice stove & microwave; 2 cups water stove & microwave; 1-1/2 quarts microwave-safe glass dish size; To Prepare: 6 servings; 3 cups rice stove & microwave; 3 cups water stove & microwave; 2 quarts microwave-safe glass dish size. Stove: 1. Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan (Add butter/margarine and salt, if desired). 2. Stir in rice and cover. Remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. 3. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. Microwave: 1. Combine water and rice (Add butter/margarine and salt, if desired) in a microwave-safe glass dish. 2. Microwave on high until boiling (about 5 minutes). 3. Remove from microwave. Let stand until all water is absorbed (about 2-4 minutes). 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. Note: If your microwave does not have variable power settings follow manufacturer's directions. To retain vitamins do not rinse before or drain after cooking.
