Cooking Directions: To Prepare: 2 servings; 1 cup rice stove & microwave; 1 cup water stove & microwave; 1 quart microwave-safe glass dish size; 7 microwave minutes. Prepare: 4 servings; 2 cup rice stove & microwave; 1 - 1/4 cup water stove & microwave; 1 1/2 quart microwave-safe glass dish size; 9 microwave minutes. 6 servings; 3 cup rice stove & microwave; 2 - 1/2 cup water stove & microwave; 2 quart microwave-safe glass dish size; 12 microwave minutes. Stove: 1. Bring water to a boil in a medium size pan (Add butter/margarine and salt, if desired). 2. Stir in rice, return to boil. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. 3. Remove from heat , stir and cover. Let stand 5 minutes. 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. Microwave: 1. Combine water and rice (add butter/margarine and salt, if desired) in a microwave-safe glass dish. 2. Microwave on high power for times shown on chart above. 3. Let stand covered for 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. Note: If your microwave does not have variable power settings follow manufacturer's directions.
