Get the best from your pasta, cooking the Italian way. 1. Bring 4-6 quarts of water to a boil. Add salt to taste. Add pasta to boiling water. 2. For authentic "al dente" pasta, boil for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. For more tender pasta, boil an additional minute. 3. Drain well and serve immediately with your favorite Barilla sauce. 1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F. 2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. 3. Toss tomatoes in 2 tablespoons olive oil and season with salt and pepper. 4. Place tomatoes on a sheet tray and roast in the oven for about 10 minutes. 5. Meanwhile, saute garlic in 1 tablespoon olive oil for 1-2 minutes or until slightly yellow in color. Add the roasted tomatoes, set aside. 6. In a blender, combine cheese and basil; season with salt and pepper. Blend well. Add remaining olive oil while blending. Set aside. 7.
