Keep frozen until ready to use. Do not thaw and refreeze. How should I cook 'em? Stove top (recommended): Place desired amount of frozen brussels sprouts in 1 cup of boiling water. Salt, If desired. Cover, place on high heat, and bring to a rapid boil, separating with a fork to speed thawing. Stir, reduce heat, and simmer, covered, until brussels sprouts are tender, approximately 8 to 9 minutes. Drain and season to taste. Microwave: Place frozen brussels sprouts and 1/4 cup of water in a 1-quart casserole dish. Cover and microwave on high for 8 to 9 minutes stirring once halfway through cooking. Season to taste, stir, and cover, allow to stand a few minutes before serving. Drain water if necessary. Note: Microwave cooking times may vary depending on the brand of appliance used. Please consult the manufacturer's instructions. Avoid overcooking.
