Cooking Directions: Simmer: For each 8 ounces (approximately 1/4 bag) of Cut Green Beans, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Add vegetable and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 4 to 5 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: Pour 8 ounces (approximately 1/4 bag) of Cut Green Beans in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 6 to 8 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. Microwave Ovens: Pour Cut Green Beans in 1 - 1/2 quart microwave-safe dish. Add water and cover. Microwave on high as directed on chart. Season to taste. Servings: 2 large / 11. Amount: 8 oz / 32 oz. Water: 1 Tablespoon / 3 Tablespoons. Cooking Time*: 3 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 4 minutes. / 8 to 10 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 10 to 12 minutes. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another.
