Make the World's Best Oatmeal at Home: Bring water and salt to a boil. Add extra thick rolled oats, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes (or longer for creamier oatmeal). Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes. 1 Serving (Servings): 1/2 cup oats: 1 cup water: pinch salt; 2 Servings (Servings): 1 cup oats: 2 cups water: 1/4 tsp salt; 3 Servings (Servings): 1-1/2 cup oats: 3 cups water: 1/4 tsp salt; 4 Servings (Servings): 2 cups oats: 4 cups water: 1/2 tsp salt. Microwave Instructions: In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup Extra Thick Rolled Oats, 1 cup water and a pinch of salt. Cover and microwave on cup high for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes.
