Microwave and Stove Top Amounts: 1 Serving: Water - 1-1/4 cups; Oat Bran - 1/2 cup; Salt (optional) - dash. 2 Servings: Water - 2-1/2 cups; Oat Bran - 1 cup; Salt (optional) - dash. 3 Servings: Water - 3-3/4 cups; Oat Bran - 1-1/2 cups; Salt (optional) - 1/8 tsp. Microwave Directions: (1) Combine water, oat bran and salt in medium (1-1/2 qt.) microwaveable bowl. (2) Microwave on high. 1 Serving: 2-1/2 to 3 minutes. 2 Servings: 4-1/2 to 5-1/2 minutes or until thickened, stirring halfway through cooking. (3) Stir before serving. Microwave ovens vary in powder; cooking times may need adjustment. Stove Top Directions: (1) Combine water, oat bran and salt. (2) Bring to a boil. (3) Cook about 1 minute over medium heat, stirring occasionally. To open press & pull back.
