Prep Time: 10 minutes. Makes 8 servings. You Will Need: 1 pkg McCormick Seasoning Mix. 2 lbs lean ground beef or turkey. 2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) diced tomatoes, undrained. 2 cans (16 oz each) kidney beans, drained and rinsed. 1 can (15 1/2 oz) tomato sauce. Slow Cooker Directions: 1. Brown ground beef or turkey in large skillet. Drain fat. 2. Place cooked beef, seasoning mix, tomatoes, beans and tomato sauce in slow cooker. Stir until mixed well. Cover. 3. Cook 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high. Stir before serving. Slow Cooker Tip: for best results, do not remove cover during cooking. Instant Pot Directions: 1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil on sauté function. Place ground beef in pot. Stir and cook 5 minutes or until cooked, drain excess fat. Add 1/2 cup water. Pour in tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce and seasoning mix. Close lid. Set valve to seal. 2. Set to cook for 10 minutes on meatistew function. When done, quick release the pressure. Open the lid once pressure inside the pot is completely released. (Check manufacturer's manual for safe operating directions).
