Q: What is Choice Rewards?
A: Choice Rewards is Giant’s new loyalty program. Choice Rewards provides loyal customers with personalized offers online (Web
or mobile) with new ways to earn and redeem points on grocery purchases.
Q: Why am I required to have an online account with Choice Rewards?
A: An online account is required to take advantage of the new redemption options- Grocery Dollars & Free stuff! Having an online
account unlocks additional benefits including digital coupons, Deli Order Ahead, shopping list and now even more with Choice
Rewards benefits. An online account is NOT required to redeem points for gas discounts.
Q: Can I still redeem points for Gas discounts?
A: Yes. Points can still be redeemed at Giant gas stations. 100 points=$.10 discount per gallon. Points expire on the last day of the month after they are earned. Customers must scan either their CARD or enter an ALT ID at the pump to get their discount.

Q: Do I need a new Card to participate in Choice Rewards?
A: No. The Card (or Alt ID) will continue to work at the register and the gas pump. Customers will not need to get a new
card to participate in Choice Rewards. However, if a customer has not yet signed up for an online account, she must do so to
participate in Choice Rewards.
Earning & Redeeming Points
Q: How do I earn points in Choice Rewards?
A: Card Holders continue to earn 1 point per dollar spent on groceries. Exclusions apply. Customers can also earn additional
points by participating in point earn offers in the flyer. When you create an online account you will be offered ADDITIONAL personalized earn offers weekly.
Q: How do I redeem my points?
A: Card Holders can continue to redeem their points at the pump for discounts on gas. Every 100 points = $0.10 off per gallon.
When you have an online account, you unlock additional ways to redeem your points- Grocery dollars and Special offers.
Q: When do points expire?
A: Points earned expire on the last day of the month following the month in which they were earned. Unused points expire and
are non-refundable. Points redeemed for special offers expire on the published date within the offer details.
Q: How can I sign-up for an online account?
A: Customers can sign-up for an online account using the mobile app or website. A Card or Alt ID is required for existing Card members to link the new online account to their card. Customers without a Card can also request a
card/digital card online when creating an online account.
Q: How can I access my personalized offers in Choice Rewards?
A: Customers can access their personalized offers through their online account, using the mobile app or website. Customers will
see new ways to earn points every week and be offered additional ways to redeem their points on groceries or free items.
Q: Do I need to activate/load my personalized offers?
A: Yes. Customers will activate new offers for EARNING points once they have viewed them via the mobile app or website in the
CHOICE Rewards tab.
Q: Can I split my points between Gas discount and special offers?
A: Yes, customers can choose to split their points between gas discounts and special offers. The customer must redeem the
special offers that he/she would like to use through the App or online prior to scanning the Card at the pump. If the
customer scans his/her Card at the pump first it will redeem the max discount from available points automatically.
Q: If I redeem points for grocery dollars but changed my mind, can I reverse it?
A: Not without some assistance. Customer Service may reissue points and will help explain how the program works to help
prevent the error from reoccurring.
Q: What if I don’t have a smartphone or access to the website?
A: Customers who do not have the ability to create an online account can continue to use their Card for everyday savings
on Bonus Buys and discounts on gas with every 100 points.
Q: Can customers still use digital coupons with Choice Rewards?
A: Yes. We encourage customers to clip digital coupons online to boost their savings along with personalized Choice Rewards
offers. Digital coupons are prioritized based on each customer’s shopping preferences. Coupons load directly to the card to be
redeemed in the next transaction.
Q: Will paper coupons for gas rewards still be printed in the weekly sales flyer?
A: Occasionally, but these will not always be available. As we move to Choice Rewards, customers will be able to earn more
points and save more with an online account, it’s easy and free.
