We could all use a few more hours in the day to get things done. One important task we need to handle every day is deciding what to make for dinner and finding time to prepare it. Take the stress out of cooking dinner by planning ahead, and save time by staying organized in the kitchen. We have some great suggestions to help you get ahead and put a great family meal on the table in 30 minutes or less:
Check your pantry, refrigerator and freezer for what you have on hand. Keep these areas well organized so it's easy to make your grocery list. Review the circular for the best values this week. Create your menus for the next week before you go grocery shopping, keeping in mind what you already have on hand and what is on sale. Post your weekly menus on the refrigerator to help you stay on track. Plan and work ahead. While cooking dinner tonight, you may be able to begin prep work for tomorrow night's dinner. Let the kids help out. Family time in the kitchen is time well spent.
These easy tips will save you time and money while allowing you more free time to spend outside of the kitchen! |
