The holiday season is about more than just getting – it’s also about giving back. In 2015, we provided 65,061 holiday meals to regional food banks through turkey and ham donations; 2,823 schools were supported through the A+ program; 54,859 kids were educated on nutrition through Passport to Nutrition, Store Tours, and Nutritionist programs; and 2,661,189 pounds of meat were donated to regional food banks. With our customer’s contributions, $1,191,185 were donated through gift cards and in-store charge accounts to help regional food banks fight hunger and 33,885 charity boxes, filled with food items, were donated to regional food bank partners. The season of giving lives throughout 2016 and we appreciate all of our customers who have helped us give back to our communities.

Healthy communities start with healthy kids. We’re proud to support Children’s Miracle Network hospitals so they can provide life-saving medical care that helps millions of kids overcome disease and injury.

We also donate to local schools during our annual A+ School Rewards program .


The Fair Food Program

The Fair Food Program is a unique partnership among farmers, farm workers, and retail food companies that ensures humane working conditions and better wages for the workers who pick fruits and vegetables on participating farms.
